Phillip A. Linder is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist and founder of The Linder Firm, a criminal defense practice serving Dallas and Collin County, Texas. Since entering private practice in 1996, he has tried more than 200 cases to a jury verdict and is one of a limited number of North Texas attorneys authorized to handle capital murder cases.
Licensed in state and federal courts, Mr. Linder specializes in complex criminal defense, white collar financial crimes, federal criminal prosecutions, and DWI/DUI defense. Prior to private practice, he spent 3.5 years as an Assistant District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, handling cases ranging from DWIs to attempted capital murder.
Mr. Linder's family has ties to the Texas legal community going back over 50 years. "My father served as a federal agent for the Treasury Department, so I grew up around lawyers," Mr. Linder says. "Watching these professionals make a difference in the lives of others inspired me to pursue a career in which I could do the same."
The Linder Firm handles state and federal criminal matters across several core areas:
Criminal Defense — felony and misdemeanor charges, including violent crimes, theft crimes, sex crimes, internet crimes, and capital murder defense
White Collar Crime Defense — embezzlement, wire/mail fraud, healthcare and Medicare fraud, tax fraud, insider trading, and money laundering
Federal Criminal Defense — investigations and indictments by federal agencies, multijurisdictional drug conspiracies and trafficking charges, and post-conviction representation
DWI & DUI Defense — driving under the influence charges, administrative license revocations, and repeat alcohol or drug-related offenses
